Oh Taisho!
Oh Taisho!
Yakitori Taisho! St. Marks Place New York, NY 10003 tel:212.673.1300 9It’s not that hard to find a good eatery at New York City. In fact it’s everywhere; moreover, the variety could satisfy people from any other cultures and taste preferences. One excitement of my trip on this Thanksgiving is when we found a restaurant on cooper union with a lot of people made a line to go in to this place. What is it? So we waited for around 15-20 minutes and there we were. This Japan style restaurant and bar has two thumbs up on their environment and their taste. They got an unique taste for people who haven’t experienced the real Japan and also an exquisite flavor for each of their menu. The biggest picture on their menu is their Yakitori (やきとりmeans grilled chicken,) yet their other menu especially the calamari has a really good taste. So if you are living or having a trip at NYC, stop by and try the taste of this Taisho era’s Yakitori (I don’t know whether they take the name from Taisho era or not though.) There’ are so many taste-worthy delicacy here, but i would recommend some of the best. First of all, you definitely have to order the fried squid, the tase was so fresh that i would order the second one. Next of course the Yakitori, their speciality of Asian BBQ. I order more than 5 entries, and i would compliment all of them. But hold on, you can also found an unique macha brulee here.

Why go : to taste the great Japan authenticity in culinary.
Why not: just if you don’t like fried or authentic foods and hate to wait in line, because it’s so crowded.
